The Geordies play in Division 4 of Thornbury & District Skittles League. Our home alley is at Thornbury Rugby Club, where the keenly priced ales should soon offset the membership fee, although the urge to break-even at the earliest opportunity may confer some advantage on the opposition.

STOP PRESS. The SRC (Skittles Research Council) has finally announced the outcome of their 2007/08 awards round. The Geordies are proud to announce that Ron Jenkins has received a substantial grant to continue his investigation into coin tossing as a legitimate, and more efficient, method of deciding the outcome of a match. If adopted, the principal benefits would be a substantial reduction in stress and focussing of attention on the social dimensions of skittling. Progress will be reported in The Geordies blog.
