The Geordies still play in Division 4 of Thornbury & District Skittles League. Please note also that we remain loyal to our alley at Thornbury Rugby Club, where the keenly priced ales have been proven to offset the membership fee. Unfortunately the urge to maximise the return on our investment does occasionally confer some advantage on the opposition.

The team has applied to Sport England for funding to employ a physio, sports psychologist, performance coach and ball tuner (all on a part-time basis). We are quietly confident that funding will be provided since it would help to meet one of Sport England's key objectives: 'a measurable increase in people's satisfaction with their experience of sport'.
